Sydney, Australia 26 June 2026
Clarity Pharmaceuticals (ASX: CU6) (“Clarity” or “Company”), a clinical-stage radiopharmaceutical company with a mission to develop next-generation products that improve treatment outcomes for patients with cancer, is pleased to announce that it has welcomed its 100th team member to the organisation.
Our focus on people is at the core of Clarity’s success and is what drives the Company forward. Over the years, Clarity has built an exceptional team across the globe, with a particular focus on the US and Australia, and continues to attract and retain some of the best talent in the industry who possess a unique range of skills, as well as extensive experience in the global radiopharmaceutical market. In the current financial year, the team has grown by around 45% while maintaining a strong retention rate, and Clarity will continue its efforts to expand its talent pool with world-class expertise and knowledge in line with its emphasis on commercialisation and continued clinical development.
The biotechnology industry requires a highly specialised and skilled workforce, attracting motivated and driven people. As such, approximately 60% of Clarity’s team holds an advanced degree of either a Masters or PhD. In addition to this, Clarity is committed to the ongoing training and development of its team members and supports their endeavours for professional and personal growth. Through this approach, the Company continues to grow and nurture its talent, increasing the level of skill, knowledge and engagement across the organisation.
Clarity’s team is underpinned by a strong commitment to the Company’s key purpose of developing diagnostics and treatments to improve outcomes for people with cancer. Guided by this purpose, Clarity has attracted people from a broad range of backgrounds and recognises the positive outcomes that can be achieved through a diverse workforce aligned with a culture of respect, transparency and trust, while celebrating its cultural, gender, demographic and educational diversity across all levels of the organisation. Recruitment of key talent, fostering a positive workplace culture as well as upskilling the team through training and development while promoting capable, driven and motivated team members based on merit and superior performance will continue to play a key role in Clarity’s journey towards commercialisation.
Dr Alan Taylor, Executive Chairperson of Clarity Pharmaceuticals, commented, “Clarity has recognised from the beginning that its people are the Company’s main asset. We offer our team the opportunity to contribute across the full spectrum of pharmaceutical development, from discovery and pre-clinical research through to clinical development and commercialisation of assets in blockbuster fields with the potential to deliver meaningful benefits for patients.
“For biotechnology companies team growth and retention are crucial given the long-term nature of translational science and subsequent commercialisation. With 100 team members on board, we now have experience from an impressive range of organisations, including leading global pharmaceutical companies as well as prominent biotech and competing radiopharmaceutical companies. We are humbled that such exceptional talent has chosen to join Clarity. As our business continues to grow, we acknowledge the importance of creating an environment that supports and nurtures our people, recognises and rewards the team for their dedication and achievements and, importantly, allows for those aspiring to be experts or leaders in their field clear opportunities to grow and achieve their potential, helping to shape the future of Clarity’s success.
“Clarity has reached numerous significant milestones as we pursue the audacious goal of developing a product from science at the Australian benchtop to a blockbuster market entry. It is important to note that very few pharma products that have achieved blockbuster status originated from Australian scientific innovation. The story of our lead diagnostic, SAR-bisPSMA, a differentiated prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) product with robust head-to-head nonclinical and clinical data, is as much of a story of Australia as it is of Clarity, contributing towards the next evolution in the management of prostate cancer. To date, 64Cu-SAR-bisPSMA has been investigated in three completed clinical trials, which demonstrated substantially improved diagnostic performance of this product compared to standard of care PSMA agents based on various parameters (e.g. higher number of lesions and patients with a positive scan, increased product uptake in lesions and contrast)1-3. These positive results have pushed us ever so close to completion of our two registrational Phase III trials and have attracted an extraordinary team as we prepare for commercial launch. This progress and achievements, as well as the development of our therapy with the same product and of other pipeline assets, are exceptional accomplishments in the sector, especially for a Company with just 100 people onboard thus far. This positions Clarity as both an Australian and global biotech leader as we head towards our goal of becoming Australia’s most successful pharma biotech company grown from intellectual property derived from the benchtop of Australian science. Our progress towards this ambition is testament to Clarity’s dedicated team and its inclusive culture, which aims to support our team, promote diversity and provide unique opportunities for growth whilst building a high-performance environment with a strong sense of community.”
